This week on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S was released in early access of the game Valheim. Highly acclaimed by players on Steam, the project has reached the Xbox consoles, and the developers have already stated in an interview that they have no plans to release the game on other consoles. However, as it became known, the authors of the project are constrained by the exclusivity agreement with Xbox.
On the occasion of the addition of Valheim to Game Pass, the Xbox team sent an announcement letter to subscribers of the gaming service. Players have noticed an interesting detail in this email – it notes that Valheim’s Xbox exclusivity will last for 6 months.
On Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S game Valheim became available on March 14th. Thus, the project will be released on other consoles no earlier than September 14, 2023.
