The ones that followed the opening of the Diablo 4 Open Beta have certainly not been quiet hours, but luckily the access problems are gradually decreasing and realities such as ElAnalistaDeBits have had the opportunity to carry out the first technical examinations which, we tell you right from the start, they appear rather encouraging.
The Video Analysis that you can view at the beginning of the news highlights a situation of substantial equality between the two most powerful consoles on the market, offering easily comparable images. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S Diablo 4 runs at 4K resolution and 60fps with Temporal Reconstruction, presenting a clean image and an always constant framerate. It also defends itself more than well on Xbox Series S, where it instead aims for a resolution of 1440p, again with Temporal Reconstruction, maintaining the same framerate objective. The PC, for its part, is capable of returning superior visual quality and performance, such as native 4K and unlocked framerate, but clearly needs components that are up to par under the hood.
The three consoles behave identically in loading: all three, in the test performed by ElAnalistaDeBits, take 5.5 seconds to enter the game, neither a cent more nor one less. The youtuber’s PC instead takes 5.34 seconds, an imperceptible advantage in practice.
If the good morning starts in the morning, then we can be calm. Blizzard Entertainment will certainly continue to optimize the game code, also taking into account the feedback of the participants of the Beta, in order to solve even the present imperfections in view of the launch set for June 6, 2023.
