Just a few minutes ago the new chapter of Dragon Ball Super, episode 4 of the new saga of the series! Do you want to know all the details?
In case you didn’t know, this new installment is really special, since it starts the adaptation in manga format of Dragon Ball Super: Super Herothe last film of Akira Toriyama y Toei Animation. Did you go to see her at the cinema?
If you went to enjoy it on the big screen, surely the cartoons of this chapter 91 of Dragon Ball Super remind you greatly of the movie. Toyotaro has made a super faithful adaptation!
And it does not surprise us, because Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is a fully canonical feature film, born from the privileged mind of Akira Toriyama. Of course, in this new version we find slight changes that we will discuss below…

Time after the imprisonment of the Dr. Hedothanks to the police work of Krillin and the help of Goten y Trunks adolescenteswe find a curious picture…Piccolo picking up little Pan in kindergarten!
This does not surprise us, since it is something that we saw in the movie, although these first scenes occur before the plot that we saw in theaters, since Pan he hadn’t started training with the namekian yet. In fact, it is right at this moment that Piccolo decides that he could train her, since he is more or less the same age as he was when he trained her father Gohan when he was a child.
Meanwhile, the police department where Krillin works is investigating the Network Pharmaceutical Company (RPC)a true cover of the army of the Red Ribbon who intends to get the services of Dr. Hedo to create an ultimate weapon. But what differences are there with the feature film?
Although in the film it was the company’s villains who explained the family tree of Dr. Hedo, Dr. Gero’s grandson, this time it is Krillin who shows everything on the screen, or rather, in a cartoon. Without a doubt, Goku’s best friend has a much bigger presence in the manga than in the movie!
After these explanations, the chapter takes us directly to the office of Magenta, the new leader of the Red Ribbon. Just like in the movie, we see him talk to Carminehis subordinate, revealing that there are only three months left for Dr. Hedo to be released from jail.
And what will happen then? As Krillin’s department suspected, they will seize the services of the scientist to dominate the world.
How do you get this! After the three months have elapsed, Magenta and Carmine approach Prison 8 to pick up Dr. Hedo and enlist him in their ranks. The scientist was aware of the plan, as he spied on the two villains with his robo-insect Hachimaru, capable of eliminating anyone with its terrible poisonous sting.
Once in the car, Magenta tells Hedo of her intention to kill off the members of the Capsule Corporation, who threaten the world with their powers, and thus safeguard the protection of the world. Interestingly, Hedo agrees to the request, as he will be offered a large amount of money to create the most powerful androids in the world!
Have you seen Krillin in the cartoons above? We are facing another modification with respect to the film. In this adaptation, Krillin tries to discover Magenta’s plans by sticking to her car, though Hedo realizes his plan and has Hachimaru knock him out.
And so, another 6 months pass in the story, leading to a scene of Pan and Piccolo’s training that we did see in the movie. Goku’s granddaughter is trying to master the ki, although she still needs some practice to achieve it…
However, not everything is as beautiful as it seems, and it is that Gohan he is leaving his daughter quite a bit for academic reasons. And her mother He sawshe also has a lot of trouble at work, so they often turn to Piccolo to pick her up at school!
The namekian, fed up with the situation, goes to Gohan’s house to test him, reminding him that he should not neglect his training despite being in a period of peace. Look how nailed this scene is to the movie too! The cover image of our review perfectly recreates the cartoon that you have below:
Now that Piccolo has given Gohan a touch, the namekian returns home to train, but a surprise awaits him… A strange character appears out of nowhere to battle him!
His identity is currently unknown, but Piccolo catches a glimpse of the Red Ribbon symbol on his shoulder. Is it an android?
We, and surely you, already know the answer. By the way, we must highlight the huge drawing that Toyotaro makes throughout the chapter, sometimes reminding us of Toriyama from the late 80s (look at Piccolo’s eyes in the last cartoon, they seem to be taken from the 23rd Martial Arts Tournament).
On the other hand, this first chapter of the adaptation of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero covers the first 20 minutes of the movie, so you can go counting that you still guess when they will shelve the matter. Kai Kai!
