Egis Klimasmanager of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), accused WBC belt holder Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) of not wanting to fight the Ukrainian.
“We tried hard enough to make it happen. Fury always wanted his own, we allowed it for the time being, and now we’ll see if the Gypsy King has the courage to agree to a fight. Sorry, but he is not a king, but just a gypsy,” said Klimas.
Earlier, Usyk said that he had sent documents about their fight for Fury to sign.
