Fallout 76, just like Fallout 4, has a powerful editor that allows you to edit your character’s somatic features in detail. Since the release of the fourth chapter we have seen several creations, from Trevor Philips of GTA to Giovanni Storti of Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo, then moving on to Walter White. After the chemist, it was his turn to reply to his lawyer, Saul Goodman. One user did, creating a faithful replica of the Better Call Saul protagonist.
“They say war never changes, but the law does. That’s why it pays to call Saul!” reads the message posted by user Borzmania on the official Fallout subreddit. The user was inspired by Jimmy McGill’s slogan, aka Saul, to introduce his lawyer. Of course, we are not talking about an exact replica, it is almost impossible with current instruments, but the features are very reminiscent of those of the character played by Bob Odenkirk. There is also a discreet resemblance to Kevin Costner.
There was some criticism in the comments, with someone linking the face more to Putin’s than to Saul’s. Others have instead appreciated the idea, commenting in turn with quotes taken from the universe of Vince Gilligan and Peter Guild. “Do you know that you have rights? Vault-Tec says you have!”, or “Don’t nuke a cache, but if you do, call me,” or “I believe that until there is proof of guilt, every Vault Dweller, scavenger, and vendor of medicines in these lands, be innocent. And that’s why I fight for you, Appalachia!”
In short, Fallout 76 continues to be played after a commendable Redemption Arc, and Better Call Saul more than 6 months after the conclusion continues to be talked about, proving to have left an indelible mark on the history of TV series. Giancarlo Esposito and Bob Odenkirk will return with two new TV series.
