Synopsis
Taking its name from the goddess of youth in Roman mythology, the Juventus Ensemble, is a new musical project founded in 2022, within the scope of chamber music, with training and variable geometry, with the aim of welcoming and valuing the best emerging musicians, covering a repertoire of different eras and musical styles.
In this concert, the ensemble included young musicians with excellent careers, in collaboration with the renowned bassoonist Rui Lopes, in a program that includes two reference works for wind quintet, Summer Music by Samuel Barber and Quinteto Op. 43 by Carl Nielsen, along with two works by composers Eurico Carrapatoso and Sérgio Azevedo.
