Konami has celebrated 9 years since the release of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.
Through the official account of the Metal Gear series on one of the social networks, Konami published the following message:
Exactly 9 years ago, on March 18, 2014, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was released to the public.
Then the game was released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. A little more than six months later, on December 18, 2014, Konami released the game on the PC.
The so-called “Paid Demo for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain”, as Metal Gear fans like to call Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, takes place shortly after the events of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. According to the plot of Ground Zeroes, Naked Snake, one of the key characters in the series, infiltrates a US military base located in Cuba in order to rescue people he knows from captivity.
The game received positive reviews from critics and casual players, and is the penultimate main game in the Metal Gear series.
