According to the latest information, Insomniac Games and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine may feature a brand new dialogue technology.
During a live broadcast on the official Insomniac Games Twitch channel, lead engine programmer Elan Raskin revealed that the studio’s next game, which will most likely be Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and possibly even Wolverine, will use “very cool” dialogue technology. .
What exactly this new dialogue technology will do is still unknown. The studio will likely reveal it during the PlayStation Showcase ahead of E3 2023 along with other in-house projects in development. According to Jeff Grubb, known for his connections in the gaming industry, Sony has saved all the fun for the PlayStation Showcase, which he says will take place sometime before E3 2023.
The unannounced PlayStation Showcase was originally supposed to take place in the fall of 2022, according to Grubb. But the dates of its holding were constantly postponed, as the studios that are part of the company were not ready to show what they were working on. Now, according to Grubb, everything is ready, and therefore Sony will hold a “massive” show to introduce the “second phase” of the PS5 line.
