Insomniac Games, among the first PlayStation Studios to completely leave the old generation of consoles behind, has already shown great things on PS5 and seems to have every intention of surprising even with its next projects, starting with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
It has already been confirmed, for example, that the new spider game will include new technology for dialogues. This was revealed by Lead Engine Programmer Elan Ruskin during a livestream session on Insomniac’s official Twitch channel dedicated to the programmer’s craft. The developer has clearly said “we have a very nice dialogue technology coming with the next game”, thus confirming the arrival of the novelty already with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and suggesting its possible revival also in subsequent games, the first of which will be Marvel’s Wolverine.
Unfortunately, it has not provided any information on how it works, so at the moment we can do nothing but be patient while waiting to find out more. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is expected to hit shelves around the world in the fall of 2023, but it will certainly show itself in the months leading up to its release, probably also at the massive PlayStation Showcase which according to Jeff Grubb will take place sooner of June’s E3.
