Redfall will shine further thanks to a post-launch update that will not only implement NVIDIA DLSS 3, to the delight of all PC gamers owning an NVIDIA RTX 40 Series, but also Ray Tracing and NVIDIA Reflex. This is confirmed by the NVIDIA brochure relating to the bundle of its video cards with relative game. In fact, anyone who buys an RTX 40 Series will be entitled to a free copy of the latest work by Arkane Studios, moreover in the “Bite Black Edition”, worth € 99.99!
“Venture into the darkness and outrun the legion of vampires with AI-powered NVIDIA DLSS 3 for maximum performance, incredibly detailed ray tracing, and the best responsiveness with NVIDIA Reflex. Unravel the mystery of the vampire apocalypse with RTX On”, reads the description on the NVIDIA website, thus confirming full support for RTX technologies.
It is unfortunately not clear if Ray Tracing will be exclusive to PC or if it will also arrive on Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. In theory, the chances that it will arrive at least on the most powerful console in the world are quite high, while some more doubts arise towards Xbox Series S. Not bad, in the case, especially if it will be an application similar to the one seen in Deathloop.
Redfall will be released on May 6 on PC, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, will be playable in cross-play and will come included from Day One on Game Pass. Arkane has recently released the new story trailerprojecting us into the nightmare scenario that will characterize the “most ambitious project ever developed by Arkane Studios”.
