Airland Studios, a new studio dedicated to empowering modders and would-be game creators, has unveiled its Airland World sandbox game creation platform. The platform will begin accepting early access players later this year, with a full free-to-play launch in 2024.
Airland World creators will be able to use an impressive set of game creation tools to make their dreams of making games built using LUAU or C++ scripts come true. Enjoy realistically modeled vehicles (including trucks, tanks, planes and helicopters) and movement options (including swimming and skydiving), a variety of weapons allowing players to be friends or foes, and a selection of game modes (casual, realistic, ultra-realistic) to use them all. In addition, a customizable large-scale multiplayer mode is available, and it is up to you how many players can cooperate or compete with each other.
With so many options, it’s important that these games are exciting as well. At the same time, Airland World will have a fully procedural copy of the planet Earth, created by artificial intelligence. This stunningly beautiful game, complete with real roads and geotypic buildings, was created in collaboration with WildRealm Inc., which provides a global simulation environment for professional simulations.
What’s more, the creators of Airland World can easily share their games with millions of players around the world or monetize their creations if they choose. The platform’s full-featured server system will allow creators to export their games to third-party storefronts or sell them directly through Airland Studios’ dedicated store.
