The adaptation turned out to be compact: the mod weighs only 7 megabytes.
Modder polar has improved the first-person view of The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim by tweaking the standard character hand animations. In total, the modder improved several thousand animations.
Improved object interaction animations, combat animations, movement and running animations. In addition, polar has created unique animations for some weapons: for example, the Dragonborn no longer swings a mace in the same way as a sword.
According to the modder, the changes have affected almost all the animations used in Skyrim with a first-person view.
There are several important things related to the new animations:
There can be weird transitions between some attacks, they can’t be improved – this is how the game engine works. Animations are focused on the field of view between 80 and 110 degrees. There is no animation of the crossbow: it was strangely buggy, it has not been possible to fix it yet. There is no animation of the torch – they just forgot about it, it will be soon.
In the next updates, the modder plans to fix some bugs and add some missing animations. Perhaps there will be camera shake when attacking and moving, as well as some other changes.
The Comprehensive First Person Animation Overhaul mod is downloadable here. To work, you will need the Dynamic Animation Replacer mod, it is also recommended to install Precision.
If the set of animations will be set manually, then the content of the mod must be placed in the Skyrim Special Edition\Data\meshes\actors\character\_1stperson\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions directory.
