Guerrila Games has published a farewell message to Lance Reddick, who recently passed away. Reddick played Sylens in Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West and he was quite an important character for the series.
Guerrilla’s message, posted in the tweet below, reads:
Thank you, Lance Reddick, for all you have given to the character of Sylens, for sharing your endless talent and wisdom with us, for your generous warmth and inimitable presence, and for your profound influence not only as part of our cast, but and as part of our community. It has been a great honor for us to work with you. We will miss you very much. We express our sincere condolences to your loved ones. Rest in peace, Lance.
As mentioned, Reddick played Sylens in Horizon. This is a character that often remains in the background of the story, but has always been important to the overall plot.
Spoiler alert
Based on the ending of Horizon Forbidden West, we can say that the character will be given more space in the rest of the series. Therefore, Guerrila Games will have to continue on its own path without the support of Reddick.
