“Trinity Fusion” is coming not only for PC and Xbox consoles, but also for PS4 and PS5. Developer Angry Mob Games has now announced this.
The development studio Angry Mob Games has revealed with a trailer that their roguelite action platformer “Trinity Fusion” will not only be released for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, but also for PS4 and PS5. The release is scheduled for 2023. The title will be released for the PC in April 2023, but no exact date is known.
In the title, we must save the dying multiverse by taking on the role of warrior Maya and splitting into her parallel selves. The multiverse is threatened by mutants and machines that want to wipe out all human life.
Each of the three selves lives in a different world with its own ecosystem and has unique sets of weapons and abilities. We switch between the desolate wastelands of endless forges and laboratories to a dangerous city in the sky. It is a matter of merging the worlds so that the timelines don’t collapse.
Multiple parallel selves in the multiverse
In the roguelite we fight our way through procedurally generated levels that offer individual challenges and arenas. Every room should be designed with great attention to detail and by hand.
We have an arsenal of skills from gliding, jumping and dodging. Permanent upgrades can also be unlocked in the citadel, which serves as a hub in Trinity Fusion. That way we can approach each run differently.
If we get stuck somewhere, that’s not a problem: we can simply start from another area and continue from there should death overtake us.
Of course, there is also a variety of equipment that increases in strength and modifiers as enemies are defeated. “Trinity Fusion” is said to offer high-energy weapons, massive hammers and sharp blades. In a suitable trailer we can get a first impression of the game.
