03/20/2023 at 4:00 p.m. by Sebastian Glanzer – With WoW Patch 10.1, players get another visual customization option for their special dragon mount. You can give your dragon riding mounts helmets via the reputation grind with the Loamm Niffen!
During your adventures in Zaralek Cave from WoW Patch 10.1 you will meet a new people called Loam Niffen, which also represent a new fame faction. Accordingly, there are many small reward perks from the nephews, including helmets for your dragon riding mount. That’s right, you can give your dragon a headgear via Dragon Manuscripts.
Interestingly, the headgear has been in the dressing preview of the dragon riding mounts since the release of WoW (buy now): Dragonflight – so they were planned from the start. In the following you can see the first pictures of the headgear on different dragons.

As you can see from the penultimate picture, the new dragon riding form also gets a helmet. So far in Dragonflight we’ve had the option to swing on Velocid Dragon, Highland Dragon, Cliff Wild Dragon and Proto Dragon. With WoW Patch 10.1 the Cloud Serpent is added!

The nephews have a total of 20 fame levels, the special dragon riding manuscript for helmets is available from fame level 19. So you have to fulfill some tasks for the mole-like beings. The Winding Slitherdrake Cloud Serpent will be as customizable in patch 10.1 as the previous four Dragon Ride mounts. Where we get the sleek kite from is not yet known exactly.
