It became known that the VimpelCom company (Beeline brand) registered a shortened version of the logo, which is a lowercase letter “b” with a dot. According to the registry of Rospatent, registration of the new version of the logo was completed on March 13.

“This is an alternative company logo – a lowercase letter “b” with a dot, we have been using it since last year. For the first time “b.” appeared as an icon for the test build of our mobile application, and our customers could see it on the Beeline merchandise,” the company’s press service said.
According to available data, the new logo is an alternative, not a replacement for the current one. The application for registration of a new version of the trademark was filed with Rospatent on July 20, 2022. The exclusive right to the updated logo will last until July 2032. Evgeny Filatov, design director of B2C products at Beeline, said that the idea of a shortened logo appeared in the company back in September 2021.
