In a statement, CCP Games says that its vision has always been to create virtual worlds that are much more meaningful than real life. The funding received, the wealth of experience and advances in blockchain technology will help the company develop a new universe and “new relationships between virtual worlds and players.”
Blockchain will allow players to dream further, one of the partners of CCP Games is sure. At the same time, the production of a new game will not affect other projects of the company, including EVE Online, which turns 20 this year.
