While the release of the first free DLC of Sonic Frontiers is now around the corner, the latest main adventure of the iconic mascot of SEGA continues to increase its success in commercial terms, with the work that has managed to attract the attention of many players around the world.
Specifically they are 3 million copies sold so far from Sonic Frontiers: SEGA itself communicated the goal through a post on Twitter, aimed at celebrating and thanking players for the support shown to the work available on PC, Nintendo Switch and consoles PlayStation e Xbox. In our Sonic Frontiers review we highlighted how the game starring the famous blue hedgehog is actually afflicted by some problems that do not allow its merits to fully emerge, however this did not prevent the game from making inroads into the hearts of fans. thus proving to be a success for the Japanese company.
At this point, therefore, all that remains is to wait for the arrival of the new free contents promised by SEGA: the first of these DLCs, entitled Sights, Sound and Speed Update, will be available from March 23, 2023 on all platforms, and is only the first of a large series of updates scheduled for the current year. And who knows, if Sonic Frontiers continues to gain acclaim, perhaps the Japanese company could think of further DLC for 2024…
