Forward “Clippers” Paul George suffered a horrific right knee injury in the fourth quarter of a 100-101 win against Oklahoma.
32-year-old George jumped for the rebound, after which he collided with his knees in the air with an opponent, and then landed unsuccessfully on his right leg, which pathologically overextended at the knee.
According to Dmitry Babelyuk, a former employee of the medical headquarters of FC Rukh, this mechanism is typical for damage to the posterior cruciate ligament. In case of injury, athletes are shown an operation and at least six months for recovery.
George is not the first time pursued by severe injuries, a few years ago he received an open fracture of both tibia.
