Ukrainian defender Vladimir Kostevich told why he moved from Kyiv “Dynamo” to the Polish club “Warta” Poznan:
“I am very happy that I signed a contract with Warta Poznań. I already miss the game so much that I can’t wait to get back on the field.
Unfortunately, Dynamo head coach Mircea Lucescu did not count on me too much. There were also injuries, but lately I did not rest, I trained a lot and waited for my chance.
From the first training session with Varta, I got the impression that I had been in this team for several years. In fact, I immediately got into the team and felt very good here. The cooperation with the players and the coaching staff has been great from the very beginning.
I will try to give the team a lot of quality and dynamics on the flank. I think that after my crosses, teammates will have many chances to score. Everyone who knows me knows that I will never get tired of playing.”
