Publisher CI Games and developer Hexworks have released a new trailer for RPG The Lords of the Fallen at Epic Games’ “State of Unreal” presentation at Game Developers Conference 2023, showcasing its technical achievements.
The Lords of the Fallen introduces an all-new epic RPG set in a massive, interconnected world that’s more than five times the size of the original game.
The action of The Lords of the Fallen takes place a thousand years after the events presented in the original. Since the defeat of the demonic god Adyr, centuries have passed, and the sinister deity is about to be reborn. The last hope of the world lies with the dark crusader, who must set out on a journey through the lands of the living and the dead to overthrow Adyr.
Compared to the first Lords of the Fallen, the game stands out with a much richer storyline. At the same time, the game world and the story unfolding in it have become much darker.
The Lords of the Fallen is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in 2023.
