Also in April 2023 some games will be removed from the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries. A list reveals what subscribers will have to do without in the future if they do not decide to make a purchase.
PlayStation Plus subscribers get access to more games each month to play as part of their membership at no extra cost. While Essential tier new additions remain in the personal library after claiming and can be used permanently, Extra and Premium tier games are occasionally removed altogether.
How Twistedvoxel reported, it will hit seven titles in April that will no longer be part of PS Plus Extra and Premium from mid-April 2023. As an example “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” can be mentioned, which is currently on sale. Players who want to keep it engaged can check out PlayStation Store until the end of the month strike for 7.99 euros.
It also hits “Wonderful 101 Remastered” in April, which normally costs 44.99 euros in the PlayStation Store. In recent years, however, there have been regular sales during which the price of the title has dropped to just over 20 euros, so patience is required here. The same applies to “The Caligula Effect Overdose”, which was sold in March during such a price campaign for 14.99 instead of 49.99 euros.
These games are leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in April:
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
Wonderful 101 Remastered
The Caligula Effect Overdose
Gabbuchi
2Dark
Croiseur Sigma
Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign
PS Plus games available for March
Plenty of supplies are regularly provided. During the week, the last new additions for the current March were released. Included are the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, the re-release Tchia and Life is Strange 2. All other new games for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are listed in this notification.
Also the games for PS Plus Essential have long since been activated. They have been available for download since March 7, 2023 and consist of the new additions “Battlefield 2042”, “Minecraft Dungeons” and “Code Vein”.
PS Plus dates for April
While March is now complete, the PS Plus dates for April 2023 can be predicted as usual. Should Sony continue with the usual pattern, the Essential games will be announced and unlocked on March 29, 2023 and April 4, 2023. The Extra and Premium releases are expected to be on April 12, 2023 with the announcement and on April 18, 2023 with the activation in line.
