Representatives of Lesta Games spoke about patch 12.2 for the military multiplayer game “World of Ships”. It will open access to Pan-American warships, change the economy, introduce a new ship to the Admiralty and tweak the balance. The game will also introduce a temporary mode called Hot Tub Showdown!
This is a prank mode in honor of April 1, in which players will have to choose 1 of 6 rubber ducks and fight other gamers in a huge hot tub. Each duck has a new type of weapon – seething mines. Their placement is similar to the installation of depth charges, but unlike the latter, they do not submerge under water and automatically explode after a certain period of time.
Ducks can also fire armor-piercing or high-explosive droplets and fire fizzy torpedoes. Since the “ships” are made of rubber, ramming or accidental collisions will not reduce their health. You can learn more about the new mode from the video posted above.
