The developers of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum today announced the release date of the highly anticipated project in the Lord of the Rings universe. The game will be released on May 25 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and PC. At the same time, the authors of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum presented an extensive overview of the gameplay of the game.
Below you can watch a nearly 40-minute video where the developers of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum talk about various mechanics, the game world, characters and much more. The events of the project will unfold before the beginning of the first part of the film “The Lord of the Rings”, when Gollum lost the ring, after which he went on a journey through a dangerous world.
IGN also released a first impressions video of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which can be seen below. In the video, journalists praise some of the stealth mechanics and details of the game world, but the project itself looks rather “raw”.
