At its conference, Huawei did not just present new and desirable smartphones and smartwatches. The brand also revealed the new FreeBuds 5.
The headphones are equipped with noise canceling technology and boast an all-new and quirky design. Huawei has already confirmed that the new headsets will go on sale in Europe next April.
Huawei excels in design originality with the new FreeBuds 5
At its March 23 conference, Huawei unveiled a handful of new products. The attention focused, above all, on the new P60 and Mate X3 smartphones, with the Watch Ultimate being very prominent as well.
But the Chinese brand presented yet another surprise that does not go unnoticed. The new FreeBuds 5 headphones come with a very original design, differentiating themselves from other models on the market.
The new design, in the shape of a drop of water, is inspired by Rupert’s Tears – a glass object created by dropping a drop of incandescent glass into cold water – and was developed during tests carried out on Kunlun glass.
This gave rise to this peculiar shape full of curves which, guarantees the brand, fits perfectly in the ear canal and provides a user experience based on comfort. Even in sessions of prolonged use.
The new model also has a very robust construction, with an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.
Each FreeBuds 5 earbud has three distinct parts for better performance
Each headset in the new FreeBuds is made up of three parts: a battery module, a control circuit and a sound unit. Since each of these has a separate placement, the performance of the model is improved.
They also have noise canceling technology, stating the brand that they have the 3.0 reduction feature on the integrated buttons.
The new FreeBuds 5 provide support for both LDAC and L2HC codecs and are equipped with 11mm drivers that deliver very detailed sound.
In turn, the charging base includes a magnetism system, made up of double ring magnets so that the earphones are safely “stored”.
On a single charge, the FreeBuds 5 have a battery life of up to 30 hours of continuous playback. And thanks to 5C fast charging, just five minutes of charging the earbuds will allow them to run for up to two hours without interruption.
