World Premiere Adventure FilmDungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieveswill take place on March 31st. And Hugh Grant, one of the main characters in the film, in an interview with the magazine SFX Magazine admitted that during the work on the role he was most afraid of the fans D&D and his co-star, Michelle Rodriguez.
The actor noted that the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop audience is extremely loyal and united, they love this game and may hate those who treat it without due respect. As for Rodriguez, for the role of the barbarian Holga, she gained a solid muscle mass and Grant kept waiting for her to “beat” him.
In an interview, Grant also discussed the possibility of starring in the series “Doctor Whoafter appearing in the non-canonical parody episode “Doctor Who and the Curse of Inevitable Death“. And as it turns out, Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies offered Grant the role of the Doctor in the reboot, but Grant turned it down. The series eventually returned, starring Christopher Eccleston.
Over time, Hugh Grant regretted the refusal, but assured that now he was not interested in participating in the cult series.
I’m not sure I could watch Doctor Who even now. He scared me so much as a kid. Even this music.
