On PC and new consoles, the Resident Evil 4 remake supports ray tracing, which improves reflections and shadows. YouTuber ElAnalistaDeBits showed how much the graphics in the game change when ray tracing is turned on.
It turned out that in most scenes the difference will not be too great. The tracing is best visible on reflective surfaces: Leon starts to reflect in the glass, water and marble look a little more realistic.
The most difficult to notice tracing effects in dynamic scenes. In addition, in some locations, reflections in screen space look so good that turning on tracing makes almost no difference.
