The Last of Us: Parte I it will turn up Steam Deck? Currently Valve has not yet marked the game as verified, but there’s little doubt about that, as he’s using Naughty Dog’s game to promote his hardware. Such a choice should ensure compatibility.
Currently, there are more than 8,000 games that Valve has verified for Steam Deck, i.e. those that have received manufacturer approval and are considered perfect on the platform. The Last of Us: Part I does not yet appear among these, probably because it will be available from tomorrow, but going to the Steam Deck site in the lead we can see a few seconds movie showing sequences of different games, among which the title also appears of PlayStations.

Note that the other games in the movie are: No Man’s Sky, Hades, Stray and Persona 5, all fully functional on Steam Deck. Considering that all games launched by PlayStation on PC have been Steam Deck verified, it’s no wonder The Last of Us: Part I can be as well. Of course, the system requirements in this case are decidedly high, so expect a lot of compromises from a graphic point of view on the Deck, but the possibility of playing the adventures of Ellie and Joel on the go is certainly tantalizing.
