Synopsis
Is the language Portuguese? What language do we speak anyway? Can all people who speak Portuguese say they speak the same language? And our language(s), what does it say about us?
Another Language is a project created by women from Angola, Brazil and Portugal, where the awareness lives that a good part of what we are depends on our crossings by this symbolic content – the language – that precedes us; that it is through it that we configure both our visions of the world and our possibilities of understanding what has happened, and who we are.
A performance-conference in which, based on the experience of Portuguese speakers from different countries, we question whether our mother tongue is the same and whether, by intervening in it, we can change the reality it describes.
Another Language has guaranteed audio description through the Accessibilities Project of
