Turn off the sunlight in Mexico as Midnights at Horizon brings new rally-themed customizations, neon light decorations, and more to Forza Horizon 5.
The new Forza Horizon 5 update is going to be huge! Enjoy 4 new Forza cars, 25 cars with new rally upgrades, 4 new widebody kits, 44 cars with new tire upgrades, anti-lag turbo upgrades, 15 new songs (Epitaph Records), 10 fresh props and one new “neon world”.
From March 30th through April 27th, Forza Horizon 5 will extend its nighttime hours to host a grand light show featuring neon decorations, drones, and more. Shortly after Sierra Nueva welcomes the first drivers to Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure starting March 29th, the Horizon Festival in Mexico will be decked out with neon light decorations.
Nightlife is in full swing at Horizon Festival, with new neon decorations and drone shows lighting up the expansive night skies throughout the event series.
The update can be downloaded from March 28, 2023 along with the “Rally Adventure” expansion. After downloading, you will have all the new content on your hard drive and can go full throttle on time.
An extension is this Anti-Lag & Launch Control for your turbocharged vehicles. Build the new Anti-Lag system into your favorite vehicles to boost performance while delivering amazing flame effects and fireworks sounds. If you cannot find the Anti-Lag & Launch Control engine options, check if your vehicle is already equipped with a turbocharger, otherwise it will not appear.
Players playing Forza Horizon 5 on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One steering wheel have a choice of new customization options:
Steering Wheel Rotation – This sets the range of steering wheel rotation on your steering wheel, but does not affect the steering wheel lock. Steering Lock Multiplier – This sets the angle that the front of the vehicle and the direction of the front tires form at maximum steering lock. The lower this value, the smaller the angle. Steering Speed Sensitivity – This adjusts how much the vehicle steers with speed. A lower value results in less steering lock at high speed. By default (1.0) steering angle does not change with speed.
The tire tread size will be introduced for the off-road vehicles listed below, which include buggies, trucks and high-performance SUVs. This option can be enabled for any tire compound and allows players to increase the height of the tires to maximize the available wheel arch space.
