Since the launch of the Game Pass gaming service, Microsoft has offered new subscribers access for 1 month for just $1 or another minimum fee in the currency of the region where the subscription took place. By subscribing to Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate in this way, players got the opportunity to experience the benefits of the service at a minimal cost.
Portal XGP.PL noticed that the promotion with a subscription for a minimum fee is no longer valid. Microsoft did not warn in advance that it plans to end this promotion, but from about March 24-25, the promotion ceased to be valid in all regions. Thus, now players can only subscribe for the first month by paying the regular subscription price.
The Windows Central portal received a comment from Microsoft representatives who confirmed that the promotion had ended:
We have discontinued our previous introductory offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass and are evaluating various promotions for new members in the future.
