According to everything that has become public, AMD and Intel had postponed all their plans to 2024, in order to escape this wave of low demand, and extremely high prices, that plagues the technological world. Or not! According to new information, AMD even has plans to launch good, and new, things during this year of 2023.
Is 2023 bad for technology? AMD doesn’t want to know!
So AMD hasn’t said much about what its next generation of Ryzen processors will be able to bring to the table. What seemed more or less normal, since the launch had apparently been postponed to 2024. However, according to what Gigabyte came to say, the next generation of Ryzen processors will really come out, and hit the shelves, still during this year of 2023 .
That said, we still have no idea if Gigabyte is really talking about a new generation, or just a refresh, just like what happened with Zen+ processors (Ryzen 2000) a few years ago. Or else… Gigabyte got it wrong, and is just talking about more Ryzen 7000X3D processors already confirmed, and of course, the new Ryzen 7000G.
In short, we’ll just have to wait. Having said all this, do you believe in launching Ryzen 8000 processors in 2023? Or is it an idea that doesn’t make any sense, when the demand for the current Ryzen 7000 is nothing special? Share your opinion with us in the comments box below.
