American heavyweight Jermaine Franklin (21-1, 14 KOs) said he was going to knock out former WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO world champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs).
“They say Joshua’s career is at stake. For them, this fight will be a bitter disappointment. Joshua could have chosen anyone, but he chose me. Maybe he’s trying to prove to himself that he can do to me what Dillian Whyte couldn’t.
I want to knock his ass out. It is my goal. I came here to wake up Joshua and the rest of the world. I definitely feel that at the end of the fight I will be the winner. As for Joshua and his coaches, I can’t predict what style he will try to use,” Franklin said.
The Joshua-Franklin fight will take place on April 1st. Earlier, the boxers had a duel of views.
