The baseball simulation “MLB The Show 23” is now available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, among others. A feature trailer is in the mood for the release.
Sony Interactive Entertainment and San Diego Studio today celebrate the release of baseball simulation game MLB The Show 23. The sports game is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
With “MLB The Show 23” players get the opportunity to hit some balls out of the stadium a few days before the start of the new baseball season. The developers have also incorporated fresh content and functions into the new offshoot, which advance both the presentation, the gameplay and the longevity of the title.
History, new features and a world championship
Among other things, the storylines were introduced, which revive the history of baseball and initially focus on the Negro Leagues and their iconic players. In addition, numerous new legends such as Derek Jeter have been added, so that the Diamond Dynasty once again has a large number of cards to collect.
In terms of presentation, all MLB stadiums on the next-gen consoles have also been given full outdoor areas, so that there are now tracking shots from completely new perspectives. The Stadium Creator has received a variety of new objects so that you can get closer and closer to the ballpark of your dreams.
You can also play online games with a friend and slay opponents together. The overall package is rounded off by the World Baseball Classic. The World Championship, which has been breaking viewership records in recent weeks, is also playable in MLB The Show 23.
