Former world ranking leader Rafael Nadal said he did not know when he would return to the court after a hip injury.
“I don’t know who received such information, but if it was true, I would confirm it. Unfortunately, I cannot do this.
I keep moving on my way and don’t know when I’ll play again. This is true. Now I’m in the stage of increasing the load.
If I had known the return date, I would have named it. I can’t confirm that I will play in Monte Carlo. We evaluate my condition every day. And I prefer to say something when I have confidence,” said Nadal.
Note that Rafa did not play after the Australian Open. It was previously reported that he would return to the court on April 10 in Monte Carlo.
