How to kill a regenerator?
During the search for the key card in the laboratory, you will meet the regenerator for the first time. Several parasites live inside this enemy, which allows him to quickly restore all damage.
The regenerator will be alive as long as at least one parasite remains inside it. Later in this chapter, you’ll get a special scope that will allow you to see these vermin and hence the targets to shoot.
At the first encounters, you can try to shoot the regenerator with a shotgun, use grenades, or just run away.
All Keycards in Resident Evil 4 Remake
First of all, get to the room south of the Sectional Room, shown on the map below. There you need to use the lever to switch the power to the right side of the building. Also here you can find a note explaining how to upgrade the key card to level 3.
Key card 1 access level
Having dealt with the food, go to the room north of the Sectional. You will now be able to interact with the terminal to open the door. After that, the key card of the first level will lie on the table inside.
To do this, you have to solve the riddle on the terminal. You need to rotate the elements in such a way as to bring power from the Power block to the final points, indicated by the lightning icon.

Now go back to the lever and switch the power back to the left side of the building. After that, go to the Freezer and unlock the door with a level 1 key card.

From the Freezer, go down the corridor to the south and unlock the door with the level 2 keycard. Go through the Systems and go down to the Incubation Lab. In the room to the north of it, you can get the last key card, but for this you need a wrench.
Where can I find a wrench?
To find the adjustable wrench, first of all, pick up the biosensor sight from the suitcase next to the key card. Install it on any available weapon and head back to the Incubation Lab.
Enlighten the regenerators in the incubators to notice an adjustable wrench inside one of them. In addition to the key inside, you will also see parasites that allow this monster to regenerate.
Position yourself so that you can shoot two glowing dots at the same time, this will instantly kill the regenerator and give you the “Two bastards in one shot” achievement. Take the wrench and use it to get a level 3 card key.
