Bethesda has created its own unique fantasy world in Starfield, a style it calls NASA Punk. Previously, developers have repeatedly talked about individual games, films and works that they looked at when creating their project. Now Bethesda designer Emil Pagliarulo spoke about this in his social networks.
As Emil Pagliarulo has stated, there is virtually no cult sci-fi on TV that doesn’t have echoes in Starfield:
There are people who ask me what other films besides Perspective have influenced Starfield. It is difficult to give a specific question to this question if you do not go into the territory of revelations and spoilers, which I cannot and do not want to do.
But seriously, I don’t think there’s one sci-fi movie or one TV show that hasn’t inspired many of Starfield’s developers in one way or another—from Cosmos: 1999 to Cowboy Bebop to Through Horizon” to “Silent Escape”. After all, this is space – there is a place for everything.
Recall that Starfield is coming out on September 6 on Xbox Series X | S and PC.
