CD Projekt RED is not going to add a full-fledged subway system to Cyberpunk 2077, cut out at one of the stages of the game’s development. Community Director Marcin Momot told about this in response to numerous questions from the fan community.
Fans are talking about the return of the subway because of an interview with a Czech gaming publication from a CD Projekt employee. Apparently, the players were victims of an incorrect translation from the Czech language.

Since yesterday, many people have been tagging me, so I will give clarifications on this issue. Nothing has changed regarding the Cyberpunk 2077 subway system, we do not plan to add it in the future.
At one time, the developers explained the rejection of the subway and some other systems by the desire to make the game more interesting.
