The Last of Us Remake is available now on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Sony’s launch trailer shows what PC gamers can look forward to.
With a little delay, “The Last of Us Part I” made it onto the PC. If you don’t have a PS5 or want to relive the epic adventure with better technology, you can now purchase the PC version.
The GOTY winner comes to PC for the first time
“Experience the emotional story and unforgettable characters of The Last of Us™, winner of over 200 Game of the Year Awards, for the first time on PC,” the official statement said.
Both on Steam as well as in Epic Games Store you can buy the action-adventure. The price on both sales platforms is 59.99 euros.
If you want the Deluxe Edition with additional content, you pay 69.99 euros. The content includes useful skills and improvements as well as various weapon skins. A gameplay modifier for the explosive arrows, a dark blue filter and the fast run mode are also included.
Are you again interested in the physical Firefly Edition, you have to shell out 109.99 euros. A CD is not included in the limited steel box, but the “The Last of Us: American Dreams” comics, bonus add-ons and a few weapon parts are included.
The available settings
What specs you have to meet, Sony announced earlier this month. The functions have also been known since then: the two upscaling technologies AMD FSR 2.2 and NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution are available. In terms of image formats, you can choose between 16:9, 21:9 ultrawide and 32:9 super ultrawide. Additionally, there are options regarding Vsync and framerate caps.
If you have a DualSense controller in the house, you can easily play with it. All you need is a simple USB-C cable. On the other hand, if you play with a mouse and keyboard, you will benefit from several customization options. Incidentally, an adaptive mode that combines keyboard and gamepad commands is included.
The feedback from the PS5 players has helped the responsible development team to make meaningful improvements and bug fixes. This resulted in an even smoother gaming experience.
