For the Pro version of its Smart Band 7, Xiaomi is trying to get a little closer to smartwatches by offering a 1.64-inch screen. For comparison, the classic model offers a 1.62 inch panel. A slight gain that improves reading comfort and makes navigation much easier and more pleasant.
The panel is still AMOLED with a definition of 280 × 456 pixels, i.e. a density of 326 pixels per inch. Otherwise, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro is 5 ATM certified and can therefore, on paper, be used up to 50 meters deep. For the materials, Xiaomi has opted for a plastic case with metallic borders and a polyurethane strap, which can also be changed with a leather model.
Efficient, more precise monitoring
On the health metrics side, the Pro model has a heart rate monitor and blood oxygen saturation analysis. It also offers sleep monitoring and breathing quality during sleep, stress monitoring, and even health monitoring for menstruating people. But where Xiaomi improves is by integrating a GPS chip that will provide better geolocation tracking.
Its top-of-the-range bracelet also offers sports programs to users who can thus set up different types of training. The brand provides a total of 117 sports that can be followed from its Smart Band 7 Pro. As for the autonomy of the bracelet, the manufacturer promises up to 12 days of use in “classic” mode and 6 days in “intense” mode. For recharging, the bracelet is able to recover all of its battery in one hour. Note that the tracker is compatible with the Alexa assistant.
