This generation has become rich in survival horror games, with several major releases and indie projects on the way. One of the novelties that is drawing attention is Pine Harbor, a new game from the developers of DarKnot.
Pine Harbor, developed by indie Vision Forge Team, is a new horror game inspired by Will Smith’s I Am Legend. Recently, a gameplay trailer was released for the game, which shows the gloomy scenery and creepy enemies.
At the moment, there is little information about the game, it is only known that it will be a first-person horror game. In addition to I Am Legend, the developers cite Silent Hill, Darkwood, and Resident Evil as inspirations.
Pine Harbor will take place in a small town named after the game. This city is covered in fog, surrounded by rocks and pine trees, very similar to those seen in the games of the Silent Hill franchise. According to the Vision Forge Team, the goal of developing Pine Harbor is to create an extremely frightening and addictive game. To achieve this effect, the development of the game is carried out on the Unreal Engine 5 engine.
No platforms or release date for Pine Harbor is known at this time, but Vision Forge Team hopes to release the game in late 2023.
