The premium version of the smartphone looks just fantastic
Meizu has proven that it can surprise. Let’s talk about the dark horse of this presentation – Meizu 20 Infinity. In this smartphone, the main emphasis is on design and premium case materials. The frame is made of stainless steel, Meizu Titan Glass on the front and back.
Glass contains ceramic particles, which are sintered with glass during the manufacturing process at a temperature of 750 degrees. As a result, it has a high rigidity (6.5 on the Mohs scale) and is very resistant to scratches.
The model received ultra-thin symmetrical display frames with a thickness of only 1.48 mm. It also uses an innovative frame-to-glass transition design that is almost seamless and looks very cool. Meizu 20 Infinity will be available in three colors – black, gray and green.
Iron compared to younger models also has certain differences. Here we installed a 6.79 “display from BOE – AMOLED Q9 with a variable frame rate from 1 to 120 Hz and a resolution of QHD +. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with 12-16 GB GDDR5 and a UFS 4.0 drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB.
The battery has lost some weight compared to the “firmware” and has a capacity of 4800 mAh, the power of wired charging has also decreased to 65 W, and the wireless one has remained at 50 W. Looking at the fact that the thickness of the smartphone has even grown a little (8.2 mm), you can understand that the new protective glass is a little thicker than its counterparts from corning.
The cameras, oddly enough, also slightly worsened, the main one is 50 MP IMX 766, the telephoto lens is 12 MP IMX663 and the width is also 12 MP IMX563. The front camera is the same as the others – 32 MP IMX616. In a word, buying this model for the sake of cameras is definitely not worth it.
