More than a year has passed since the announcement of the mysterious survival game developed by Blizzard, but no information has yet been received about it, which makes us also take into account a short tweet with a mysterious photo posted by Mike Ybarra in the last few hours.
It’s hard to understand the details from the message: “This week I had a great dinner with the core team working on a survival game,” wrote Ibarra, president of Blizzard Entertainment.
The post is also accompanied by a photo of some sort of book or diary with an “O” on the cover and some sort of key lying on it, as possible clues to the features of the game in question. All we know at the moment is that this is a new intellectual property and that it is a survival game in a fantasy or fairy tale setting.
The game was announced in January 2022 and is presented as a survival game for PC and consoles in an unnamed universe. Subsequently, we learned that the game is already playable, and development began five years ago, but apart from a couple of arts, nothing else is known about it, except for some rumors that talk about a possible first-person combat.
