A little less than a month is left before the release of the zombie shooter Dead Island 2 from Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios, but despite this, the game has already received update 1.01. Digital pre-orderers will be able to download the game with the pre-installed patch as soon as it becomes available for pre-download prior to the game’s release on April 21, 2023.
Update 1.01 brings stability and performance improvements and weighs in at 18.5 GB on PlayStation platforms. Additionally, Dead Island 2 was recently revealed to weigh in at 67.18GB on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, which suggests the game will weigh the same amount on PS4 and PS5.
Dead Island 2 is an upcoming role-playing game developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver. It is the third major game in the Dead Island series and the sequel to the 2011 Dead Island video game. Dead Island 2 differs from its predecessors in that it takes place approximately 10 years after the events of Dead Island in the city of Los Angeles, which has been quarantined due to a zombie outbreak. The game is scheduled to release on April 21, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
