On March 27 at 21:00, the Ukrainian youth team played a friendly match against the Italian team at the Oreste Granillo stadium in the Italian city of Reggio di Calabria.

National team coach Ruslan Rotan managed to make a flight from England to Italy in a day and led the youth team in a match with Italian peers.

The only goal for the Ukrainian national team was scored by Oleksiy Kashchuk in the second half.
