The future of the IPs from the creators of GTA and Read Dead Redemption is partly shrouded in mystery, especially in light of the rumors that have emerged in recent months that would see Rockstar grappling with the return of GTA IV, later revealed to be a bug on Twitter. Meanwhile, however, there is bad news about online service of Red Dead Redemption and GTA.
As stated in the FAQ section of the Rockstar Games website, the company has announced that Prime Gaming users will lose their benefits for GTA Online and Red Dead Online very soon. All this will happen within a few days, as we can read from the words reported by the software house: “I already have an Amazon account with a Prime subscription which is linked to my Rockstar Games Social Club account, so why don’t I receive the benefits of Prime Gaming for Grand Theft Auto Online or Red Dead Online?”.
Rockstar itself provides an answer to the aforementioned question, stating that “The Prime Gaming benefits are no longer supported as of March 31, 2023 for Grand Theft Auto Online and from April 3, 2023 for Red Dead Online”. Not all evils have a silver lining: in fact, again from the pages dedicated to user support it is said that “Prime Gaming players who played Grand Theft Auto Online between March 30 2023 and March 31, 2023 will receive a prize of 125,000 GTA dollars”.
Instead, as regards the players who populate the Red Dead Online servers, we know that the following rewards will be given:
Five gold bars; The “scream” emote; A new version of Buckley’s hat; A color variant of the “Rivera Hooded” tunic.
Such rewards they can be redeemed for free by all Prime Gaming usersas long as Red Dead Online is played before April 4, 2023. In the meantime, however, players want to know more details about Rockstar’s venture productions, as in the case of the heir to Grand Theft Auto 5. The latest leaks on GTA 6 have shown the first eleven locations on the map of what should be Vice City, at least according to rumors.
