04/01/2023 at 16:15 by Jusuf Hatic – April 1st is traditionally used for jokes of all kinds – in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla this is expressed in a curious headgear that was taken from another Ubisoft title.
At the beginning of the month, hardware manufacturers aren’t the only ones getting in the mood for April 1st with jokes, some games also insist on celebrating the day with curiosities. This includes Ubisoft, who have unlocked a new headgear in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that is specific to that day only. Anyone who logs into the game today will be able to find a Rabbid Helm in their inventory and display it.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla 1.7.0: This is in the last update
This was discovered by the user Alert_Chart on Reddit, who uploaded a screenshot of his character in the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (buy now €26.26) subreddit. The Rabbids are the rabid rabbits who take on the leading role in the game series of the same name, also from Ubisoft. Everyone can decide for themselves how suitable a giant rabbit’s head is for an assassin and how unobtrusive stealth missions are possible.
Apart from minor updates like the Rabbid hero, however, the status of the 1.7.0 patch for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will most likely remain. At least no major patches are expected for the offshoot that was released in November 2020, after all, the content in the adventure seems to be complete: The free expansion released in September 2022 completes the story of Eivor with “The Last Chapter”.
The Ubisoft series continues with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which is due out before the end of the year. So far it is only known that no loot boxes are planned at least for the release, and Mirage should also be based on the gaming experience of classic Assassin’s Creed parts. The price will also remind you of the “good old days”: Assassin’s Creed Mirage should cost 50 US dollars to start with, but it will have a shorter playing time.
