These are days of excitement for the fans of the world of Cyberpunk 2077. After the latest revelations from CD Projekt RED regarding the Phantom Liberty expansion pack, new details emerge thanks to the financial report of the Polish studio.
In fact, according to what emerged from the document, it seems that the development of Phantom Liberty started as early as December 2021when the studio, after improving the stability situation of the base game, decided to allocate about half of its resources to the development of this ambitious packagewhose marketing campaign will start in the month of June, presumably accompanied by a series of new Night City Wires which should illustrate the innovations planned for the future.
This package, it seems, will one of the most ambitious in the studio’s entire history, according to what was revealed by some spokespersons during an interview granted to the financial magazine Parkiet. The CD Projekt RED guys themselves were keen to underline that Phantom Liberty will be something never seen before, and that it could even surpass the much appreciated ‘Blood and Wine’, The Witcher 3 DLC that allowed the Polish studio to establish itself at the general public.
These are weighty statements, which show how certain the developers are of the goodness of their work after the controversial launch of the game in December 2020. After all, even Idris Elba is convinced that the plot of Phantom Liberty will be the deepest ever seen in videogames.
