Waiting to discover the list of new games coming to Xbox and PC Game Pass in the coming weeks, let’s start the month of April with some bad news: Quantum Break is about to be removed from the subscription service catalog.
During the night, Microsoft updated the “Soon not available” section of the Xbox Game Pass application by also including it in the list Quantum Break, a third-person shooter developed by Remedy and originally launched in 2016 on PC and as an exclusive Xbox One console. There are no indications regarding the date of removal, but in all probability it will correspond to the day of April 15th.
What is surprising is not so much the removal of a game, a practice to which all users of subscription services are now accustomed, but the nature of the same. Quantum Break was released under the Xbox Game Studios imprint and in an old interview from 2018 Remedy clearly stated that Quantum Break’s IP belongs to Microsoft, so it’s somewhat strange to see it disappear from the service.
Waiting to understand something, we remind you that the announcement of April’s new games for Xbox Game Pass will probably be carried out on Tuesday 4 April. Among the titles already confirmed is Ghostwire Tokyo, fresh from a year of console exclusivity on PlayStation 5.
