E3 2023 has officially been cancelled, but that doesn’t mean we’ll run out of events this summer. Far from it, the major gaming companies are already working to give us weeks and weeks of announcements and surprises.
Geoff Keighley replied present making his available Summer Game Festscheduled for June 8, while Microsoft has already claimed the June 11 date for the double appointment formed by the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase and the Starfield Direct. Ubisofthowever, will broadcast its Forward the day immediately following, June 12th.
E Sony? The Japanese gaming giant has not yet revealed its cards, but according to well-known insider Jeff Grubb will broadcast its PlayStation Showcase ahead of Summer Game Festtherefore in a date before 8 June. This is certainly not very precise information, but Sony probably won’t anticipate the other companies too much, so we can expect the event in the first week of June.
The contents of the PlayStation Showcase are clearly still completely unknown, but Grubb himself has already thought about inciting the hype by talking about an impressive event destined to kick off the second phase of the history of PlayStation 5. Among other things , we certainly expect a grand appearance of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2for the moment expected in a generic autumn 2023 on PlayStation 5.
